Fredrik is a top show dog in conformation along with many other talents: agility rally,

pet therapy, and obedience.  He is a very happy little dog living in New York City with

his loving owner Janet, but clearly he longs for the spotlight in Hollywood.

"CORNEEL AT THE PLAZA" centers on the adventures of international show champion Corneel.  A mischievous, precocious Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Corneel is enjoying an idyllic life on a Virginia farm when he is suddenly kidnapped and transported to New York City.  Being extremely intelligent, after escaping from his kidnappers, Corneel finds his way to the genteel and welcoming Plaza Hotel.

"Corneel the Cavalier" is a country dog with kind neighbors, a windmill for a home and exciting dreams of fun and friendship.  But unexpected changes are in the wind for Corneel.  Join this lively puppy in the first of a series of stories as he faces turmoil to discover his destiny in the big city.

Janet York, mother of three children, when not collaborating on a book, is training, grooming, and showing her seven Cavalier show dogs. She is also a renowned sculptor and her life-life sculptures can be found in homes and museums throughout the world.
